About Humane Resources Ltd
Before establishing Humane Resources Ltd I was design manager in an automotive components firm. Products I'm still proud of included the first plastic clutch pedal used by Ford in Europe, a generic TV stand design penetrated 64% of the EU market, and which remained unchanged for about 12 years until the advent of flat TVs, and several automotive interior trim products including instrument panels, centre consoles and accessories assembled by various UK car manufacturers.
Humane Resources has worked on a couple of cases with unusually good outcomes for clients. Statistics from the Employment Tribunal service show that in 2008-2009, only 49 (2.00%) awards of compensation for unfair dismissal exceeded £50,000, and only 7 (0.02%) unfair dismissal claims disposed of at a hearing resulted in reinstatement or re-engagement orders. The statistics state that the maximum award of compensation for unfair dismissal in the period was £84,005. This has to be an anomaly because one of Humane Resources' clients was awarded £203,000 during the same period. In any case, according to these statistics the outcomes obtained for two Humane Resources clients are very rare. As well as the £203,000 award, one client was reinstated.
Humane Resources Ltd is a private company whose sole source of income is payments by clients in exchange for services provided. It is not possible to provide these services free of charge. This page explains how the fees are worked out how to pay.
I am really touched by what clients have said about the service. A client wrote on 17 August 2011:
"Despite receiving legal advice from several solicitors about my claim, Adrian was the only person who I felt really understood my predicament. Adrian understood the subtext running through my grievance and how events had affected me, and was able to summarise my rather lengthy grievance very accurately.
Adrian placed the relevant information from my grievance very simply and elegantly within its legal context enabling me to understand clearly the strengths and weaknesses of my case. Several solicitors that I had been in touch with before contacting Adrian were much less effective at achieving this.
Adrian works with a very compassionate heart, and his approach to ethical business practice is inspirational. I cannot recommend Humane Resources highly enough."
In respect of regulated claims management activities, Humane Resources observes the Conduct of Authorised Persons Rules issued by the Ministry of Justice. Although these rules strictly apply to our work for individual clients, we will in any case observe the same principles in our dealings with corporate clients. Corporate clients, however, are exempt from the Claims Management Regulations and therefore are unable to escalate complaints to the Claims Management Regulator.
It is hoped that clients will be entirely satisfied with any services used. To cater for the possibility that a client is dissatisfied, we operate this procedure for handling complaints. The procedure is intended to comply with the Complaints Handling Rules 2006, pursuant to Rule 8 of the Conduct of Authorised Persons Rules 2006.
